Tiny Kitten Saved from Fire!
On Thursday afternoon, Chattanooga firefighters rushed to a fire at a homeless encampment after spotting smoke around 2:30 PM. Within just 15 minutes, the blaze was under control.

But in the middle of the chaos, Engine 21’s Elliott Brown made a heart-stopping discovery: a tiny kitten with minor burns.

Without hesitation, firefighters rescued the little fighter and rushed it into the care of McKamey Animal Center, where it’s now safe and healing.”
Huge thanks to Engine 6, Ladder 7, Squad 7, and Engine 21 for not only protecting people but also saving even the smallest, most vulnerable lives.
Proof that heroes wear turnout gear — and sometimes save kittens too.
