Duncan previously said he was inspired to become a sports presenter after watching his idol Eddie McGuire present on TV.

‘I loved how the reporters on TV got to talk about sport, almost in a performative way,’ he told Radio Today in 2023.

‘Eddie was so quick and versatile,’ he continued.

‘Funny, but could also deliver serious news.’

Duncan is survived by his family, who are understood to be devastated by the sudden loss.
