Donald Trump has revealed the truth about Elon Musk’s alleged d*ug use at the White House.
Musk and Trump are currently having a very public break up after the tech billionaire left his post in politics.
Musk publicly criticized Trump’s ‘big, beautiful bill’ and the president shared his disappointment at Musk’s response.
Then, things took a bizarre turn, when Musk claimed that the reason why the Epstein files have not been shared are because Trump is on them.
Taking to X, Musk wrote: “Time to drop the really big bomb: @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files,”, “That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!”
Adding in a follow up tweet: “Mark this post for the future. The truth will come out.”
Epstein allegedly committed suicide in August 2019 while awaiting trial for s*x trafficking charges.
When asked by NBC’s Kristen Welker, Trump was asked if he thought his relationship with Musk was over, he replied: “I would assume so, yeah.”
“I’m too busy doing other things,” Trump added. “You know, I won an election in a landslide. I gave him [Musk] a lot of breaks, long before this happened, I gave him breaks in my first administration, and saved his life in my first administration, I have no intention of speaking to him.”
Trump shared with NBC that there would be ‘serious consequences’ if Musk helps fund Democratic campaigns in the future.
“If he does, he’ll have to pay the consequences for that,” Trump said.
A few weeks prior, a source shared with the New York Times that Musk had allegedly taken d*ugs while at the White House.
The outlet accused the billionaire of using k*tamine, e*stasy, psychedelic mushrooms and Adderall as well as having a ‘pill box’ of medication on his person.
They also alleged that Musk has used d*ugs for medical and recreational purposes once per day over the last year.
They also alleged that his alleged use of k*tamine was so frequent that it caused him health concerns with his bladder – a common consequence of using the dr*g.
The source was not able to confirm if the alleged d*ug use was during his time working at the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) or during the presidential campaign.
Musk has denied these claims, calling them ‘lies’.
He shared; “Also, to be clear, I am NOT taking dr*gs! The New York Times was lying their a** off,”.
“I tried *prescription* k*tamine a few years ago and said so on X, so this not even news. It helps for getting out of dark mental holes, but haven’t taken it since then.”
Trump was asked about the claims this week, to which he replied:
“I really don’t know, I don’t think so, I hope not,”.
“I wish him well… I just wish him well, very well, actually.” he said.
The public battle between Musk and Trump has been labelled an ‘unfortunate episode’ by White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt. She told CNN: “This is an unfortunate episode from Elon, who is unhappy with the One Big Beautiful Bill because it does not include the policies he wanted. The President is focused on passing this historic piece of legislation and making our country great again.”
When asked on Fox News about the issues between the two billionaires, she added: “Just days ago, Elon thanked the president for his incredible leadership to cut waste and fraud in our government, which this one big beautiful bill does.”
She continued: “The only difference between Friday and today is Elon went back to his companies and as a businessman, he has a right to speak for his companies, but as president, President Trump has a responsibility to fight for this country.”
In an even more interesting turn of events, Musk has since deleted his tweets about Trump.
Some have claimed this is simply a coincidence but others think that Musk is backtracking following Trump’s threat.
