Britain’s Got Talent ground to a halt after KSI was left in disbelief when a surprise act took to the stage on ITV — leaving the panel and audience stunned. The Boxer-turned-judge could barely contain himself when Moldova’s viral sensation — the Epic Sax Guy — appeared and began performing his iconic hit. KSI said: “Oh my god, I thought I recognised this guy. Oh my God, this is crazy.” As the performance got under way, he shouted: “What!” as Alesha buzzed, before adding: “It is, yes, oh my God, it’s epic sax guy!”
The moment escalated even further when a video of KSI himself — dressed in a gold jumpsuit mimicking the performer — appeared on the big screen mid-performance. KSI said: “That’s me, oh my God, this is an honour” After the act, KSI jumped up to greet the performer as a confused Alesha asked: “I don’t understand what’s happening here. Tell us what’s going on?” KSI explained: “That’s me in the video! I was inspired by this guy. I saw him do the epic (performs a hip thrust), and I wanted to implement that in my video.

The performer added: “our video went so viral.” Finally seated, KSI declared: “The easiest yes from me, you absolute legend.”
He then pleaded with an unsure Simon Cowell: “How about for the next round I perform with him?” “In that outfit?” Simon asked. “Yes” KSI replied.
Simon then said: “ok. It’s a yes then. I’m looking forward to this.”
Elsewhere in the episode, the fifth Golden Buzzer of the series was handed out — this time by hosts Ant and Dec — as the latest round of auditions delivered another standout moment.
The duo were left in hysterics by comedian Ted Hill, whose inventive stand-up set combined slick presentation-style visuals with punchy, fast-paced jokes.
Blending his background presenting science shows for children with sharp observational humour, Hill had both the audience and judges in fits of laughter — prompting Ant and Dec to slam the Golden Buzzer and send him straight through.
Hill’s comedy draws heavily on his own life, with routines exploring his experiences with autism and ADHD, alongside his niche interests ranging from US presidents to graphs and maps.
The unique style has already earned him a strong following, with multiple Edinburgh Fringe shows and a successful run at Soho Theatre under his belt.
Viewers watching at home were quick to praise the decision, with one posting: “Absolutely hilarious and deserving of the golden buzzer!” Another said: “Deserved that buzzer … I thought he was great … unique”, while a third added: “I loved that audition. He’s really funny.”

However, not everyone was convinced, with one critic fuming: “The Golden Buzzer literally means nothing anymore. What happend to acts who actually deserved it? It’s just given out to anyone like sweets nowadays.”
Ted now joins a growing list of Golden Buzzer acts this series. Simon Cowell was first to press it for Australian para-athlete Paul Nunnari, whose wheelchair stunts stunned the panel. KSI followed with 16-year-old magician Rafferty Coope, while Alesha Dixon backed innovative act Antigravity, and Amanda Holden chose a 34-person choir made up entirely of British farmers.
