One person was critically injured in a crash involving a school bus, according to authorities.

Cincy Fire & EMS said a car crashed into the back of the bus on Red Bank and Duck Creek in Madisonville on Tuesday.
We rescued one person form the passenger car who was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries,” the department wrote in a social media post.
A photo accompanying the post shows the vehicle partially wedged under the rear of the bus.
According to police, deputies were pursuing the vehicle on Interstate 71 just before it crashed into the bus. It’s believed that the driver is in his 20s.
As of Wednesday evening, the driver’s condition wasn’t immediately known.
Authorities said no one else was hurt.
