Tammy Slaton is showing off her new chompers.
The 1000-Lb. Sisters star, 39, appeared on the Tuesday, Aug. 19 episode of the Creative Chaos podcast, where she told host Hunter Ezell that she has new teeth after dealing with past criticism about them.
“Show me them chompers, girl,” Ezell said as Slaton smiled for the camera.
Ezell congratulated her before asking her to explain the work she got done.
“They’re temporary still, but they had to cement them in because the glue wasn’t holding. Well, my body was rejecting it. But they had to pull teeth. It’s a bridge,” Slaton shared. “I’m still getting more done with it. It’s a process.”
Dental bridges replace missing teeth. They are false teeth anchored to adjacent natural teeth, doing as the name implies and “bridging the gap” in an individual’s smile.

“Everything’s great,” Ezell boasted. “You’ve got new teeth. That’s the people off your back.”
“Some of them,” Slaton quickly replied. “They’re always gonna be there.”
“I’ll tell you this — and I stand by it whenever I say this — if you ain’t got people who constantly got something to say about you, you ain’t doing good in life,” Ezell said.
“Haters make me famous,” Slaton quipped.
Slaton has been vocal in the past about the insecurity she had about her teeth. In January 2024, she posted a video on TikTok responding to one critic who told her to “fix them teeth,” noting that she’s gotten numerous messages about her looks.
“With all due respect, I wish people like you would stop commenting crap like this,” she said. “It’s not helping my confidence. I was trying to keep my confidence boosted and seeing comments about my chin or my teeth doesn’t help.”
Slaton went on to explain that getting her teeth fixed can be expensive. Although she has money, she doesn’t have the means to save up for it at the moment.
“I had to calm myself down before I replied because I really wanted to go off on you. I really wanted to tell you if you had a true problem with my teeth then pay for them yourself,” she continued. “But I don’t want to be that person. I don’t want to be rude.”
“I’m trying to better my life and better myself. We should be lifting up people. It doesn’t matter if I’m missing teeth,” she said at the time. “It’s sad. Why hate? Why can’t you just appreciate the hard work I’ve put in. Why can’t you just appreciate that I’m still alive. Yes, I have flaws. I’m human… But I’m not gonna let you or anyone else ruin my day.”
