People online are all commenting the same thing after Billy Ray Cyrus called Elizabeth Hurley ‘the love of his life’.
The country singer shared a celebratory post on Instagram to commemorate Hurley’s 60th birthday.
Sharing a wholesome snap of the actress smiling on his lap, he wrote: ‘Happy birthday to the love of my life ❤️’. See below:
Many fans were not happy with this label, with one commenting: “How you two just started dating [sic] Love of your life? What a joke,”.
Another penned: “How many ‘loves of your life’ have you had in the last 10 years?”
A third agreed: “You change the love of your life like your underwear,” and: “I’m sure your kids are thrilled to hear that [sic],” read another.
It seems that some commenters seemed genuinely happy for the couple but the majority of the feedback appeared skeptical.
Speaking during an appearance on The Ty Bentli Show, Cyrus shared an insight into his relationship: “We just laughed, and it came at a time when I wasn’t laughing much. It was the oddest thing.”
“I figured we were so different, but in some very strange way, we had way more in common than not,” he added.
Cyrus was previously married to Cindy Smith from 1986 to 1991 then Tish Cyrus from 1993 until 2022. They went on to have five children.

Then in 2023, Cyrus married singer Firerose and the pair split less than a year later.
Hurley on the other hand, dated Hugh Grant for over 10 years and they split in 2000. She then had a brief relationship with Steve Bing, the father of her son Damian, before marrying Arun Nayar in 2007 and splitting in 2011.
Later in 2011, she got engaged to Shane Warne but things fell apart in 2013.
